WEST DULWICH PHARMACY, ROSENDALE ROAD, WEST DULWICH

Wooden drawers at West Dulwich Pharmacy, Rosendale Road, West Dulwich, shortly before it's closure and refurbishment. Although adapted for modern use, they are clearly labelled with late 19th century pharmaceutical contents used in medication, including opium. The premises opened in the 1890s as a chemist and post office, and by 1901 was run by Charles Edward Boultbee.Digital image dated 29th October 2008
