The former investment banker Reena Patel with her artworks at the Urban Art Show in Josephine Avenue, Brixton Hill. Reena was born in a small town in Tanzania, East Africa, where her entrepreneurial grandparents had emigrated to from India. Her family then moved to England when she was 9. Her art business is called Sajaavat, Hindi for decoration, and has an ethnic Indian influence with reference to intricate mehndhi (henna) patterns. The Urban Art Show is an annual event utilising the street railings as an open air gallery. Digital image dated 18th July 2009.
