QUEEN ANNE PUBLIC HOUSE LANDLADY, VAUXHALL WALK, VAUXHALL

Denise D'Courtenay, landlady of the Queen Anne public house in Vauxhall Walk. London's most historic stripper's pub began providing adult entertainment in 1959. Denise began as a barmaid here in 1979 before becoming the publican in 1982. She introduced pole dancing in the 1990s as well as fund raising events for charities, including the Lennox Trust's Children's Cancer Fund.
