John Ruskin's house at No.163 Denmark Hill. Ruskin lived here from 1843-1872, apart from short intervals away, and his study window was above the verandah on the left. He previously lived with his parents at No.28 Herne Hill from 1823 until 1843.After the watercolour by E.M.B.Warren, from 'Homes and Haunts of John Ruskin' by E.T.Cook, published 1912, George Allen.
