337 KENNINGTON LANE, VAUXHALL

No.337 Kennington Lane, Vauxhall (formerly No.143 Upper Kennington Lane), when the Georgian house was in use as the Go-Go Club. Thought to be built by Sir Joseph Mawbey in the early 1770s, it was occupied by Thomas Fassett, who took over the Mawbey brewery at Vauxhall in 1779-80. Adjacent on the right is the Marmite factory building, built on part of the former grounds.
