Bodyguards surround the 'Pope mobile' as Pope Benedict XVI leaves Lambeth Palace for Westminster Hall. His visit on 17th September 2010, was the first ever visit by a Pope to Lambeth Palace where he was greeted by Dr Rowan Williams, the Archbishop of Canterbury. The Pope also addressed a joint meeting of diocesan bishops from the Church of England and the RC Church in England & Wales. Digital photograph dated 17th September 2010.
