The cabaret artiste Simon Whitehouse as the DE Experience at the Royal Vauxhall Tavern public house, Kennington Lane. The Tavern was built in 1863 and celebrated its 150th anniversary in 2013. In the 1940s war years, female impersonators often performed here attracting returning service men and local gay clientele which the pub has continued to do so since, making it London's longest running gay venue.Digital image by kind permission of Enzo Peccinotti.
