The site of the goods yard to be covered by platforms at Waterloo Station. The extension was granted by parliamentary powers in 1899/1900. 'Aubin Street, Granby Place, Granby Gardens, Charley Place and Christies Place have all been completely wiped out...one church, All Saints, has shared in the cataclysm. Another landmark which has disappeared is the old station of the London Necropolis Company.' The article also states that Waterloo was the most-used terminus, with 2,500 trains and 120,000 passengers entering and leaving the station each day.From 'The London Argus', 3rd September 1904
