A school diary or log book for the infants' department of Sussex Road School, Brixton. Dated from the opening day on 9th April 1894 and listing 3 staff and 93 'scholars'. Formerly in the possession of Miss Enid Jones, a former Headmistress. Notes include poor attendance on 25th May due to 'prevalence of measles, chicken pox and whooping cough'.
