The Old Pump House and Laceby's garage at 27 Streatham High Road, awaiting demolition for replacement by shops and flats. The 300-year old house was lived in by Mr W. Laceby, who was a Streatham resident for 50 years, claimed his was the first garage on the London to Brighton Road.. From South London Press dated 7th August 1936.
