Two disabled ex-soldiers testing the new artificial limb patented by Messrs Charles A. Blatchford & Sons, 90 Clapham Road, Kennington/ South Lambeth. The limb was noted to weigh just 4lbs with the leg stump fitting into willow casing. The firm claimed, 'a new outlook on life is conjured up by this latest improvement in many ex-soldier's heart'.
