SOUTHSIDE CLAPHAM COMMON, CLAPHAM

Clapham Common South Side, looking towards Clapham High Street.  The Clock Tower, seen on the left was given to the Parish of Clapham by Alexander Glegg, Mayor of Wandsworth.  Shown here when the entrance to the underground station was on the opposite side of the road.  The Alexandra Hotel is seen on the right foreground, with its distinctive domed roof partly visible.
