From left to right are the swimming baths, the girls' playhall and part of the girls' houses. In the foreground are the mound and fixed staging that were used to stage pageants and gymnastic drills during the annual Festivals held on Founder's Day, a date near to Charles Haddon Spurgeon's birthday - 19 June.
