A Christmas Box appeal to St Mary's parish inhabitants from dustmen Robert Lane & Charles MacDonald for them 'not to give their bounty to fraudulent road men or scavengers'. The two men were employed by Messrs W. & J. Sinnott. Dated 26th December 1837.
