The American Opera singer Jessye Norman ( 1945-2019) photographed by Frank Manning at a Dean Street record store, dated 26th June 1985.

Manning Photographers was founded in the late 1940s by James Manning, who was later joined by his son Frank. The studio operated from 1952 onwards in Windmill Row, Kennington until 2022.
