The exterior of the Ideal Cinema, Lambeth Road. Originally the Lambeth Methodist Chapel, it was converted for a pioneering venture by the Rev. Thomas Tiplady in 1928, to widen the influence of the church through Cinema Evangelism. The building was bombed during World War II and replaced by the Methodist International House in 1968. Photograph possibly taken by the Rev. Thomas Tiplady of Lambeth Mission in glass negative format. ID: GNS/1/2
