Bailey - "It would be best to increase the legitimate trade in Palm Oil". Query 2526 - "Then all those persons whom they would either have killed or sold to slavery, are now employed in the Palm Oil Trade?". Commander Broadhurst - "That is what I believe". Blue Book 5th August [?]1842. Prices' highlighted the anti-slavery moment to enhance the sales of their candle wax produced using palm oil.
