The exhibition by photographer Jan Enkelmann observes the streets and people of Brixton in the triangular area bound by Brixton Road, Coldharbour Lane and Atlantic Road. Jan states, 'The camera helps me make sense of a place, to see its beauty, its flaws and contradictions more clearly. The camera has also been my armour, allowing me to approach complete strangers in a way I would otherwise not have been able to. It is a split second to make up my mind if I'm going to speak to someone.....Half of those I ask say no, ignore me or show me the finger. I don't blame them, I would probably do the same. On bad days, it is closer to ninety percent. It's always an amazing feeling when someone says yes. I know it is a big ask.' The exhibition titled 'The Triangle' was held at Lambeth Archives, 28th April to 29th May, 2026. ID: D2026-
