Soldiers from the First Surrey Rifles during World War I at a training camp, perhaps prior to being sent to France. Begun initially in 1859 as a voluntary Army Corps in Peckham, Surrey Rifles relocated to Flodden Road, Camberwell in 1864. A Surrey Collection photograph from a now destroyed nitrate negative.
