ALBION MILL, BLACKFRIARS BRIDGE, SOUTHWARK

Albion Mill adjacent to Blackfriars Bridge, Southwark.  The steam mill using water from the Thames, was planned by the noted engineer Matthew Boulton and completed in 1786 to the designs of architect Samuel Wyatt, although gutted by fire in 1791.
