'...Said to be Archbishop Juxon after his Decease'. William Juxon was Bishop of London before being made Archbishop of Canterbury in September 1660. Although he fell from favour with the Parliamentarian and had his property seized, he later returned to Lambeth Palace and rebuilt the Great Hall.Later watercolour by unknown artist, taken from an original picture in the Vestry at Lambeth Palace.
