BAZAAR FOR DISTRESSED POLISH REFUGEES, BEULAH SPA, NORWOOD

Leaflet for a fete to be held at Beulah Spa, Upper Norwood, for the benefit of distressed Polish refugees. 'The sympathy and assistance of the public are most earnestly implored, on behalf of those once rich and happy, now distressed'. The fete held on 13th July 1838 included music by 'Herr Johann Strauss's celebrated band'.
