Dusk at Bonnington Square in Vauxhall. Image captioned; 'Bonnington Square, GLC properties empty for years pending a school extension plan. The whole square, and houses in neighbouring streets, was occupied in early 1981, and brought to life by a co-operative now negotiating with the GLC for Licences.' From 'As Safe As Houses', an exhibition on short-life housing in Lambeth put together in 1981 by Julian Quan with photographs by Peter Murphy.
