This view of Brixton Road shows the junction with Coldharbour Lane (on the right). The Tate Gardens on the left, once used to pasture sheep, was bought by Lady Tate for the people in 1905 and converted into a garden in front of Tate Library . On the other side of Brixton Road the dome over Isaac & Walton, the large outfitter's shop, can be seen in the background on the left. Linskey Postcard Collection.
