CANTERBURY THEATRE, UPPER MARSH, WATERLOO : PROGRAMME

The Canterbury Theatre of Varieties (or Canterbury Music Hall), at 143 Westminster Bridge Road became one of London's most famous music halls, established in 1849 by Charles Morton, who added a new hall in 1851 and another one in 1855. Rebuilt in 1867 by R.E.Villiers, the theatre survived until it was bombed in World War II.Programme for variety performance on August 28th 1893.
