The Canterbury Theatre of Varieties, Upper Marsh. One of London's most famous music halls, established in 1849 by Charles Morton, who added new hall in 1851 and one in 1855. This building was built in 1867 by R.E.Villiers, with the main entrance in Westminster Bridge Road, and survived until it was bombed in World War II.Programme for a variety performance on Monday 14th November 1910.
