CHRIST CHURCH, GIPSY HILL, NORWOOD

Christ Church in Gipsy Hill, Upper Norwood, was opened by Bishop Sumner of Winchester on 8th June 1867. Designed by John Giles, only the tower survived a fire in 1982 and this was later converted into a dwelling renamed Highland Tower, with a new church built alongside in Highland Road.
