Christmas card to Vi Villa (née Lavelli) from the Sister Madlyn-Smith at the Charity Ward of St Thomas' Hospital, where she had been a Voluntary Aid (VAD) Nurse for the Red Cross. Vi lived in Aquinas Street, Waterloo during the war and trained to be a Red Cross nurse, caring for geriatric and TB patients at St Helier hospital, before moving to St Thomas' hospital.Digital image by kind permission of Mrs Vi Villa.
