CLAPHAM LIBRARY, CLAPHAM COMMON NORTH SIDE, CLAPHAM

Ground Floor Plan of Clapham Library, Clapham Common North Side, soon after it was built in 1889 to a design entitled 'light' by the architect E.B.I'Anson. The library costed £4000 to build and £1000 to furnish. It was opened by Lord Avebury on 31st October 1889. Engraving published in 'Public Libraries' (p.310), by Thomas Greenwood, 1891.
