View north-east across Clapham Road towards Stockwell Underground Station, which was first opened in 1890 as the terminus for City & South London Railway and rebuilt in the 1920s. The clock tower is a war memorial to those who were killed in World War I and was unveiled in 1921. A Johns Postcard.
