COUNTY HALL FROM YORK ROAD, WATERLOO

The eastern facade of County Hall seen from York Road. The square is flanked by extensions to former office buildings, now redeveloped as luxury apartments. The County Hall was the headquarters of London County Council for over sixty years. Known as the Greater London Council from 1965, which was abolished in 1986.
