DUKES HEAD PASSAGE, KENNINGTON

Renumbering and renaming plan for Duke's Head Passage, Kennington, formerly Orange Cottages. In 1939 the street was renamed Fontenoy Passage, after the battle of Fontenoy at which the Duke of Cumberland, Earl of Kennington, was in command. The renumbering incorporated also Evans Cottages.
