The artist Lyall Watson speaking at the unveiling of his mural at the Durning Library in Kennington Lane. It was painted in sections, each panel showing various historic Lambeth scenes and people associated with the area. They were painted by pupils of Archbishop Temple School. Lyall Watson lived in Kennington Road and would have painted the panels in his front room. The mural has since been removed.
