ELDER ROAD, WEST NORWOOD

ELDER ROAD, WEST NORWOOD

One of the three thatched cottages which stood in Elder Road. The River Effra ran in front of the cottages and the road was reached by a wooden bridge. In 1942 the cottages were destroyed by fire. The land is now part of Norwood Park.
