Flying bomb incident at Ellerslie Square, Brixton, showing damage to the Sunlight Laundry and the remains of an Anderson shelter in the foreground. Dated 24th June 1944. This branch of the laundry opened in 1937 and employed 400 staff laundering 200,000 articles each week.
