EXECUTIONS, KENNINGTON GALLOWS.

Two newspaper clippings recording executions at Kennington gallows. 'Malefactors' executed were one for house breaking, another for sheep stealing and a third for rioting. From the European Magazine dated 11th April 1796. William Gibson was executed for robbery and was found in a private cave at Comb Wood, Kingston - from Gentleman's Magazine August 1755.
