Festival of Britain, 1951. Diorama from the 'History of Coal Mining' shown at Glasgow, one of the many venues at which the Festival was celebrated. The models in the diorama were designed and constructed by Warner Cooke, who had designed many of the dioramas exhibited at the South Bank site in Lambeth.
