Flight Sgt.Volrath and Air Gunner Moll were based in Brindisi during World War II, with Squadron 148. The squadron flew Halifaxes and Lancasters and were chiefly employed in dropping supplies and SOE agents throughout occupied eastern Europe, including Poland and Rumania.Photograph donated by Mr.Volrath, now a resident of Streatham, Lambeth.
