GATTI’S CINEMA, 214-216 WESTMINSTER BRIDGE ROAD, WATERLOO

The bomb-damaged remains of Gatti's Music Hall, 214 & 216 Westminster Bridge Road. The hall was originally opened in 1865 by Carlo and Joseph Gatti and rebuilt larger in 1883 as Gatti's Palace of Varieties. It closed in 1924 and became Gatti's Picture Palace (later Cinema), but demolished in 1950 by the LCC for a road scheme.
