GLASSHOUSE, RUSKIN PARK, DENMARK HILL, LOUGHBOROUGH JUNCTION

A surviving glasshouse in the grounds of Ruskin Park, Denmark Hill, Camberwell, from the original private gardens belonging to Samuel Sanders. His estate was bought by the London County Council and opened as a public park in 1906. It was named after the artist and art historian, John Ruskin, who lived in Denmark Hill for many years.
