A newspaper cutting recording the charging of J Watts, C Butler and W Lane by the Streatham constable on suspicion of intending to steal dead bodies from the church yard. Butler had enquired of the Sexton the previous day about the burial of a woman whose grave was fresh. The three men were sent to trial. Dated 1814
