HENRY DOULTON
Sir Henry Doulton 1820-1897, potter and entrepreneur, joined his father's pottery at Lambeth in 1835. He extended and improved the pottery and introduced various art wares and was knighted in 1887. Photograph published in 'Renaissance of Art Pottery in Lambeth' by W.H.Brown
