The Hibbert Almshouses on Wandsworth Road were built in the gothic style by sisters Sarah and Mary Ann Hibbert in memory of their father William Hibbert. When they first opened in 1858, they provided homes for 'eight aged women'. Digital image courtesy of Penelope Gretton, 2004.
