HOLY TRINITY CHURCH, CLAPHAM COMMON, CLAPHAM

Old Church, Rectory Grove, and Holy Trinity Church, Clapham Common. The Old Parish Church seen on the top, dates back to the 12th century and was replaced by St.Paul's Chapel in 1815. Holy Trinity Church seen in the middle, was built as the new Parish Church in 1774-76. The detail below shows the monument to Mrs.Margaret Castlefranc in the old church, now at St Paul's Church, Rectory Grove.Pen and ink wash sketches by unknown artist, c.1800.
