View north along Jeffreys Road from Clapham Road, with St Augustine's church on the left. The church was built to the designs of Sir Arthur Blomfield in 1898-9 on the site of the Augustine Independent Church, erected in 1875. It suffered some damage in World War II and furnishings were removed in the 1950s so that it could serve as a parish hall. A Johns postcard.
