Centenary of John Oakey and Sons Ltd. 1833 - 1933. A family business which, started from small beginnings, prospered and grew into a world-known organisation. Manufacturer of emery cloth, abrasive papers, polishes for domestic and industrial applications. The introduction 'Wellington' knife polish in 1858 was an widespread success.
