KENNINGTON COLLEGE, KENNINGTON ROAD

'Vauxhall/ Kennington Manor' was ILEA Kennington College when this photograph was taken, but originally built by the London School Board as Kennington Manor Secondary School to the designs of T.J. Bailey costing £17,308. It opened on 23rd August,1897 and a southern wing was added in 1900. The buildings were converted into apartments in the late 1990s.
