Lambeth Town Hall, Brixton, was opened by King GeorgeV and Queen Mary (then Prince and Princess of Wales) on the 29th April, 1908. The building was designed by Messrs. Septimus Warwick an d H.Austen Hall. This view from across the road at the junction of Coldharbour Lane and Brixton Road shows the building shortly after it was opened, before the clock was installed on the tower.
