LARKHALL LANE, STOCKWELL

LARKHALL LANE, STOCKWELL

A view of houses in Larkhall Lane, Stockwell, part of the proposed site for the Larkhall Park. The three-stage redevelopment included the compulsory purchase and demolition of early Victorian houses in Lansdowne Way and Larkhall Lane by the GLC, but with the site being transfered to Lambeth Council, later funding issues meant the plan was not fully implemented and the buildings were saved.
