The London Eye, also known as the Millennium Wheel, Jubilee Gardens, South Bank. Seen in the process of construction in October 1999, it is one of the world's largest Ferris Wheels. Designed by architects David Marks and Julia Barfield, for the Millennium 2000 celebration. Westminster Bridge in the foreground and the London Aquarium and Hotel, previously the London County Hall, in the background to the right.
